For Weddings/Private Events:
While your guests arrive and enjoy cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, the Route 66 Band will provide the perfect blend of DJ'd "dinner music" with traditional and contemporary jazz during this time.
" The Route 66 Band " traditionally entices the audience to dance to crowd favorites from the Motown era and other songs from the 60's and 70's. Earlier music selections will be chosen to appeal to the "senior" members of your audience, while later selections (80’s to more current material) will be aimed at a younger age group. Remember, our goal is to please everyone in attendance, and we've found this approach to be very successful.
It is our goal to make sure your evening of fun and dancing is not only the one you had in mind, but one that you and all of your friends will remember for a long time to come.
We typically play only 4 hours. If your event is out of the metro Houston area, our rate would be higher, and there could be an additional charge for longer distances from this area or adverse setup or other conditions. We can offer a fantastic sax man for an add'l charge.
With clients who book us 6 months in advance, we can offer to learn 1 song for the event. We also can handle all of the MC work for you. We would need a script to work from or we could just wing it. We have played over 200 wedding and/or private party events since we started in 97, partly due to our client referral success. We look forward to helping you with your event!
